Bathroom Reveal - Part 2

So I said that there was something missing yesterday;
I didn't know what it was until I saw this:
Shanty2Chic
 Aren't those shelves gorgeous?

It just so happens I have a blank spot where they would fit perfectly:

The tutorial says "Easy DIY Floating Shelves", so that's how I sold it to Hubby.

I mean the tutorial itself was about 8 photos long - these should be a breeze for my Handsome Handyman!

I think the next photo says it all…  he was less than thrilled to be building on a Sunday afternoon.
That look means "don't even think about asking me to adjust the height".

A coat of primer and two coats of paint and they are perfect!
I tried to do a little 'styling' of the shelves so they looked as good as the Shanty2Chic picture - but it's little girls that will be using this bathroom - so the reality is more baby powder and nail polish than mercury glass and spa decor.

I think we've finally got it right!

Have a great one!

  1. I LOVE those shelves! Your hubby did a great job! So pretty, and yet so useful. They add a lot to bathroom.

    And your hubby is too cute! :D ~ Jane
